Yara Castillo is a highly qualified therapist who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her practice. With a BA in Psychology and an MEd in Counseling from the prestigious University of Houston, Yara is well-equipped to provide effective therapy and support to her clients. She adopts a client-centered approach, recognizing that individuals seek therapy to feel understood, listened to, and to form a genuine connection with another person. Yara firmly believes in the inherent strengths of her clients and their ability to make their own decisions. However, she understands that these strengths can often be overshadowed by the daily stresses of life. Yara’s mission is to help her clients rediscover and rebuild their inner strength, while validating their unique experiences as human beings. Having worked in both private practice and hospital settings, Yara has gained invaluable experience in working with chronic mental illness.
