Yvette Ramirez

Yvette Ramirez, MS, LPC, is an experienced and compassionate therapist who is dedicated to helping clients improve their mental health and overall well-being. With a background in working with individuals diagnosed with bipolar disorder, major depression, schizophrenia, or schizo-affective disorder, Yvette has a deep understanding of the challenges these individuals face. She has a strong emphasis on teaching clients how to cope with symptoms and the importance of medication adherence. Yvette’s expertise extends to solution-focused therapy, where she helps clients with co-existing medical issues that impact their mental health. She is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and utilizes this approach in her practice. Yvette’s leadership skills shine through her previous role as a supervisor for the Assertive Community Treatment Team, where she guided a team of case managers, nurses, and LCDCs in providing comprehensive care to high-utilizers of mental health services. Additionally, Yvette is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, which allows her to support clients in dealing with trauma and challenging negative thoughts.
