Hi there! I’m glad you’re here! I’m a wife, a mom of 4 and a Seminarian with 9 years of counseling experience. Before branching into private practice I spent years working in the Child Welfare System. I’m passionate about counseling and look forward to walking alongside you. As a practitioner, my clients range in age from 18-65 and bring to counseling a diverse set of issues ranging from human sexuality, abuse, drug use, mood disorders (e.g. Anxiety & Depression), serious mental illness and family, parenting and marriage issues. My process involves getting to know my client and building trust as we work together to determine how the counseling process can best serve them. Once trust is cultivated and the issues are unveiled, we’re able to move forward with a Person Centered focus that intersects psychology and a biblical worldview. This Person Centered Approach relies on the clients willing and active Christian faith and may incorporate various therapies like CBT, DBT, Reality Therapy, Gestalt, Narrative Therapy and others as appropriate. As a we walk through the counseling discipleship process, the end goal is to continue to be transformed into the Image of God. My hope is that my clients will utilize the counseling process to re-frame & heal from past traumas, while being equipped to thrive through the current dilemmas of life.
